About Us

pure blue essentials is a small Australian business created out of a desire to support people who are looking to live naturally, stay healthy and to reduce waste.

Jacinda Minahan, the founder of pure blue essentials, holds a Diploma in Horticulture (Herbs, Medicinal Plants and Essential Oils) and a Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy. With a total of over 20 years’ experience in both sectors, our high quality natural health products have been expertly shaped to support your health needs.

Our aim is to always bring you high quality, pure, natural products for the essentials of healthy living, at home and on the move, allowing you to take your natural health care and zero waste living into your own hands.

Our ingredients and packaging are sourced locally, sustainably and ethically. We always ship plastic-free and our premises are off-grid and carbon neutral. The health and wellbeing of our planet is just as important as providing natural health care to humans. While some of our products do contain plastic (such as the mist sprayer cap on our 100ml bottles), bio-plastics in packaging is very high on our agenda to research and invest in for the very near future.

We ensure that our products are always free of palm oil, GMOs, animal products, synthetic fragrances and artificial colours. We only add a high quality carrier oil (Australian owned and grown jojoba oil) to our 10ml roll-on products, to make it safe to directly apply to the skin. In any 30ml essential oil blend there is no carrier oils or fillers, it is a combination of 100% pure essential oils that are for the purpose described. The only exceptions to this is where Arnica infusion and Calendula infusion are included. The standard method of extracting the active ingredients is to soak the flowers in a carrier oil and the resulting product is called an infusion.

As our business grows we will always keep our products pure, look for ways to further support local business, and contribute greater percentages to not-for-profit organisations.

Why blue???

The color blue invokes calm and represents both the sky and the sea. It is the colour associated with open spaces, freedom, intuition, imagination, inspiration, productivity and sensitivity. It also represents meanings of depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity, confidence, stability, faith and intelligence*. We like to think these are qualities to appreciate in life, and strive for as humans and as a business.

And isn’t it also just a really great colour !?!

Essential oils need to be protected from light. So we chose cobalt blue for our bottles. A no brainer really. We hope you enjoy our beautiful blue bottles as much as you enjoy our quality products.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

All aspects of business undertaken by Pure Blue Essentials adhere to Australian Consumer Law.

Ordering Information:

There is no minimum order requirement, however a minimum rate of postage of $8.00 applies.

All orders are to be placed via our website.

For Australian Customers, price includes the GST.

For International Customers, price excludes GST.

Prices on the website are subjected to change without any notice. However, when an order is confirmed and payment received, we will honour the price for that sale.

Once an order is confirmed and payment received, order cancellation requests due to change of mind or an incorrectly placed order, will be treated as a Change of Mind Return - please refer to our Returns Policy below.

Products sold are not for human ingestion or consumption. They are for external use only and not for any other intended purpose.

Payments:

All orders must be paid for and cleared by accounts before shipment/delivery.

Payments can me made via Credit Card, Debit Card (VISA & Mastercard) or PayPal.

We do not accept cheque payments.

Freight and Delivery:

Product prices do not include postage.

Postage will be calculated and charged prior to your order being finalised. It is calculated on size, weight and Dangerous Good (DG) classification of your order.

We will ship goods using Pure Blue Essentials’ nominated service provider for Australian customers. We do not use any customer provided courier services. Pure Blue Essentials will not be held responsible for any goods held up or incurring extra local clearance charges. Please check with your local custom agents or shipping agent prior to shipment of goods.

All orders should be checked and any discrepancy or error must be lodge within three (3) days of receipt of goods. Refer to our Returns Policy for more information.

Liability:

If products are not stored correctly, this could alter the stability and nature of the products. Also, if used with other ingredients, this could also cause product stability issues. Pure Blue Essentials shall not be held liable for this. Please undertake testing of product(s) on small areas of skin or intended surfaces to ensure suitability.

Disclaimer:

Package contents and/or packaging used are at our discretion and may vary from time to time.

Errors such as misprints or omissions are regrettable. We reserve the right to make changes and corrections anytime in prices, products and specifications without notice. If we have made an error in pricing, we will notify you of the correct price.

We will not accept any liability for any loss or damage or error which may be incurred by any person acting in reliance upon this information. Information is for education purpose only and individuals must exercise their independent judgement in determining if the product is suitable for their particular purpose or usage.

Liability is limited to the value of the goods and does not include any losses including consequential losses.

Compliance and all laws and regulations and intellectual property right and/or registered business name applying to the products are the responsibility of the user and any third party related to the user.

REFUND POLICY:

Discrepancies or Damages:

If for any reason your product is faulty, incorrect or arrives damaged, please email us at pureblueessentials@gmail.com stating your order number and attaching photos of the products.

Notification must be made within three (3) days of receiving your order. No claims will accepted after three (3) days from receipt of goods.

After a claim has been made, the return must be received within twenty (20) days.

Change of Mind Returns & Cancellations:

We cannot provide refunds for change of mind returns or order cancellations.

If you would like to arrange a return, please email us at pureblueessentials@gmail.com with your order number, and the items you wish to return.

Goods will not be accepted if returned without prior contacting us to arrange return.

Product(s) must be returned in their original packaging and must be unopened, unused and undamaged.

Customers are liable for return postage charges.

Unclaimed or Returned Orders:

Unclaimed - if you fail to collect your order from the post office within the Post Office’s stipulated time-frame (usually 10 days), it will be returned to us.

Incorrect Address - your order undelivered due to an incorrect address, it will be returned to us.

If you would like your order re-shipped to you, you will be liable to pay a re-shipping fee equal to the amount of the original shipping cost on your order. Where free shipping was received, you will be liable to pay a re-shipping fee as calculated by us based on the weight, size, and classification of your order.

Any unclaimed or returned parcels can receive a store credit for instead of being re-shipped.

If your order is returned to us and we do not have any response from you after 14 days of our attempted contact, your order will be cancelled and applied as a store credit, less the original cost of shipping.

We do not provide refunds for unclaimed or returned orders.
